| The 2003-2004 Band |
During Marching Season 2003, the Band participated in many of the events in which we have been known to
participate. To begin our year, we had our mandatory Band Camp at Selbyville, WV. We performed at all home games, and traveled
to Mo'town High and to West Fairmont. Our selections included Johnny's Mambo, Killer Joe, Pretty Fly, Frankenstein, and Rockin
Robin.

During the 2002 marching season,
the B-U Band performed many great songs. The pieces ranged from blues tunes such as "Shake a Tail Feather" and "Blues March",
also including our latin hit "Sierra Sister", our slow yet savvy piece "Carolina Nice", and the famous classic
"Great Balls of Fire." The band has performed in the Preston County Buckwheat Festival Parade, the Liberty Band Spectacular,
and the BUHS Homecoming Parade. The march they performed was the classic " Washington Post March" by John Phillip Sousa.
